Three Months

Milestones:

-Started "talking"

-Laughs

Happy 3 months Benjamin! Time is really flying by and our little guy is growing like a weed. We don't have a 3 month doctor appointment for Ben but according to our scale at home he is about 14.5 pounds, which sounds about right. Ben is super alert all the time and has starting 'talking' non-stop. He definitely has a lot to say and tries to tell us all about it. I would love to know what he is trying to tell us! He smiles at us all the time and has laughed quite a few times. He's also been sitting up with some support for a few weeks now. I also think he's going to love food because he has reached for it a few times when we've been eating. It's a little too soon to start giving him food but we'll try to introduce solids in the next few months, which should be fun. He finally started sleeping for longer stretches and I am so grateful! Now he normally sleeps for a 4 to 5 hour stretch and then will wake up every 2-3 hours after that. Just getting a few more hours has made a huge difference.

I go back to work in another 5 weeks and I know it's going to fly by. I think I'm going to be pretty happy with the arrangement and it has taken a lot of stress off me. Most of you know that I have a corporate job but am luck enough to work from home. I will be going back part time, which is awesome that they are letting me do this. I will work a full day M & W and have a girl coming to our home to watch him while I work. I'm so happy that we were able to find a great girl! T & Th I will be working half days in the morning only so I still need to figure out daycare for those mornings but I am hoping we will be able to use a home daycare in our old neighborhood. She only has one baby that she watches other than her own child, but that baby is only once a week so if this works out, Ben will get plenty of care and attention. I feel like this will be a happy medium, so we'll see how it goes.
